Charlie Holland, owner of Chester Hollow Water Gardens, and his team will speak on “Ponds and Water Features.” The presentation will cover the financial benefits of offering a water feature to clients, including profit margins and costs of installation. They’ll explain and show examples of how different types of features are designed, created, and maintained and also touch upon some of the extra features you can add to ponds, such as Coy fish, aquatic plants, stumps, etc.

Charlie Holland and his New England water garden community have numerous years of experience in all facets of developing water features. His team has built small installations including disappearing pondless water falls coming out of an urn or rock, to larger water gardens with cascading brooks that end with a waterfall flowing into a large pond. Charlie puts on numerous education seminars each year, along with always offering a helping hand in the construction of any feature.

Cost is $50 for members, and $60 for non-members. Membership can be verified at www.nhlamain.wpengine.com/directory. Registration will be available from here shortly. Please check back.
