The Plymouth State University campus is home to 106 distinct tree species! University students from the Student Tree Advisory Committee will lead us on a tour showing off their favorite trees and discussing the significance and notable characteristics of individual species. We’ll see fern leaved beech, dawn redwood, Nootka Cypress, Japanese umbrella pines, and many more! Deferred maintenance along with invasive insects and plants threatens the campus landscape. Campus staff will share with us the challenges they face with maintaining this valuable tree collection, and we’ll hear from students about their efforts to propagate replacement trees in anticipation of needed tree removals. Join us for this spring tree tour and take in the beauty of the blooming campus!

Experience the Industry! Landscape After Hours (LAH) are free events that provide opportunities for landscape professionals to get together in a casual atmosphere while getting out and seeing interesting and innovative projects, sites, and services in NH’s green industry. Join us on the third Wednesday evening of each month, May – September, 5:30 – 7pm.

There is no fee to attend LAH, but we do ask that you RSVP so we know how many people to expect.

LAH events will be held rain or shine. Dress for the weather and terrain.
