The idea of combining art and environment as a career was enticing to me when I was in high school. After completing a four-year degree at the University of Rhode Island in Landscape Architecture, and working in the field with a couple local landscape companies, I was inspired by my entrepreneurial husband to start my own business. It was one of the best things I've ever done.

In 2005 I started my own company, Elm Grove Property Solutions, LLC creating landscape designs for landscape contractors, architects, engineers, and homeowners. The New Hampshire Landscape Association has played a critical role in my professional development. The people I have networked with and learned from has been invaluable. After obtaining my NHCLP certificate in 1999, I was asked to be on the NHLA Board of Directors. I volunteered on the Board as Director, Vice President, President, Past-president, Certification Committee Member, Certification Coordinator and Website Manager. I obtained my landscape architect license in Massachusetts in 2005 and am now licensed in MA, ME, and NH. I am now looking forwarding to becoming a mom and working from home.
