NHLA MISSION STATEMENT

Objectives of the Organization

• Promote professional development of those engaged in all phases of landscape work.



• Promote and advance ethical practices in the landscape industry.



• Coordinate the efforts of professional and allied organizations.



• Gather, analyze and disseminate information of general interest to the membership and the public.



• Cooperate with governmental agencies in remolding policies on legislative and administrative matters in the interest of the landscape industry and the public.



• Engage in any lawful activities which will enhance the efficiency and economic progress of the landscape community and inform the public of its scope and character.



• To promulgate sound and responsible environmental and ecological practices. This new goal was added in 1993.
